With simple UI and high APY design, ArthSwap enables High-Frequency Trade on Astar Network. ArthSwap is a one-stop DeFi protocol that aspires to be the main DEX on the Astar Network. Our primary products are trading, staking, IDO launchpad, and liquidity farming, with other capabilities to be consistently added.
ArthSwap’s primary goal is to expand our service within the Astar Network ecosystem, and our team is hence eager to optimize all features for the network, referring to us as an “Astar-native” DApp (Decentralized Application). # Swap and Farm
## Swap
The Swap function is a basic function of DEX and it is no exception for ArthSwap. As of October 2022, users can exchange assets with any of the followings: xcDOT, ASTR, ETH, USDT, ceUSDT, ceUSDC, BUSD, DAI, ETH, BAI, BTC, BNB, MATIC, JPYC, and much more.
**Important note:** The assets starting with ce are bridged assets from cBridge.
1. Visit app.arthswap.org Preferably use web browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Brave Browser) where you must install MetaMask wallet as a browser extension.
2. Please make sure to unlock the MetaMask wallet. If your MetaMask wallet is disconnected from our site, switch to Astar Network first and then click the Connect button. Astar Public RPC can be checked here.
3\. Everything’s set to start swapping. Choose a token that you want to swap to and select the amount and simply Swap.
## Farm
Liquidity providing is a function allowing you to pair two tokens together and provide liquidity. In CEX(Centralized Exchange), market-making is done by the operator, and liquidity is maintained to match the buyer and seller.
However, Arthswap is a DEX(Decentralized Application) and users can do things more than CEX e.g. yield farming, which brings virtual currencies into the pool and maintains liquidity to earn passive income. As a reward for providing liquidity and staking LP on ArthSwap, $ARSW will be distributed as a reward.
Farming on ArthSwap has an advantage in the high APY. The process to do it is pretty easy with an accessible UI.
1. Visit Pool then simply click Add Liquidity. Choose a pair of tokens that already exist on ArthSwap.
**WARNING:** ArthSwap does not support creating your own customized liquidity pools. Please only provide liquidity to the pools that already exist on ArthSwap.
2\. After selecting the token pair, select the amount you would like to provide liquidity, both sides must be 50-50 in value(e.g. $50 USDC/ $50 USDT). Then click Supply.
**UPDATE**: The harvest function has been implemented on ArthSwap application since 23rd, May 2022. Users will have to stake their LP tokens in order to receive farming rewards. # Dual Farming
Two is better than one
Dual Farming Program is a collaboration with a partnered project purposely to bootstrap liquidity on Astar Network for the Polkadot community to transfer funds seamlessly between Parachains. In addition to this, ArthSwap is the main liquidity of Astar Network.
Like iBTC/DOT, the pair is from the official collaboration with Interlay Team by proposing a Governance incentive on the forum. This means our community members will receive rewards by staking their LP token on our platform not only ARSW but INTR, a native coin on Interlay, as well.
There will be more and more incentives coming, set a notification on Twitter and Discord to be early.

# Staking
Stake ARSW to earn ARSW
ARSW holders can choose to stake their tokens on our staking page to earn more yield from protocol’s revenue. 0.05% of Trading fee from every transaction on ArthSwap is automatically used to buy back ARSW on the market and distribute to stakers everyday. In addition to prevent spamming the system, the depositing fee has been set to 1%.
# IDO Launchpad
For those who are unfamiliar, ‘IDO’ stands for ‘Initial DEX Offering’ and is commonly regarded as an opportunity for listed projects to generate funding by issuing their respective project token. The IDO allows community members to potentially make a fortune by investing in an early stage that they have been watching and would like to support for a long time.
ArthSwap IDO Launchpad requires projects to access the platform with a fixed-priced project token. As of 28th, June 2022, $ARSW's listing date, two projects have held the IDO events on ArthSwap IDO Launchpad, with one project being ArthSwap itself and the other project Starlay Finance. Both IDO events adopted the first-come-first-serve mechanism of funding.
### ArthSwap IDO
On 16th, April 2022, ArthSwap was the first IDO on Launchpad. It was a carnival for ArthSwap supporters because one million $ARSW was sold out at a price of $0.5 in merely two minutes, raised $500K for the protocol development.
### Starlay Finance IDO
ArthSwap IDO was then followed by Starlay Finance IDO on 28th, April 2022, which adopted the same first-come-first-served mode. $LAY, the project token of Starlay Finance, was sold out at a price of $0.15 in 5 minutes. This IDO event raised $750K for the Starlay team.
### Introducing Lock & Lottery IDO Mode
Even though the two IDO events were huge successes. ArthSwap listened to the feedback from the community due to the first-come-first-serve IDO mode. Many users failed to successfully purchase $ARSW & $LAY because they were both sold out in minutes.
On 2nd, May 2022, ArthSwap team made the announcement that a new Lock & Lottery IDO mode will be added for future IDO events held on ArthSwap IDO Launchpad so that users will have much fairer chances to purchase their desired project tokens on ArthSwap IDO Launchpad. The steps to participate in future IDO events are therefore as follows:
1. By staking $ARSW tokens, users will have an equal chance of participating in a lottery draw.
2. Those who are luckily drawn will be given the opportunity to purchase before the public event.
# How To Calculate APR
As you can see on the [farming page](https://app.arthswap.org/#/farms), there are two kinds of APR, Reward APR, and Fee APR. The APR value shown on the farm page is the sum of these two.
Let’s get a deep dive into each APR.
**Reward APR**
* This APR represents the percentage of the monthly reward that ArthSwap gives to the Liquidity Provider on an annualized basis. The amount of this reward is determined by the size of the multiplier allocated to each pool of monthly emissions released by ArthSwap and the Liquidity Provider's contribution within that pool.
**Fee APR**
* This is the annual percentage rate of a portion of the Swap Fee paid when a swap is made in the pool that is returned to the Liquidity Provider.
* Users pay “Liquidity Provider Fee” when they swap.
# Get Started
# Set up your Wallet
## Add Astar Network to your Metamask
1. [**MetaMask**](https://metamask.io/) should be installed in your Chrome browser as an extension for accessing ArthSwap or other EVM-compatible dApps. Please note that you should always access ArthSwap on a computer. ArthSwap is compatible with smartphones but issues may occur when you are performing crypto activities on a smartphone. Therefore, access from a computer is highly recommended while using ArthSwap.
2. Go to [ArthSwap page](https://app.arthswap.org/) and click on the fox extension icon, enter the password and unlock your wallet.
3\. Click on Networks and go to the bottom of the drop-down menu and click Add Network.
4\. Click Add Network and it will take you to another webpage where you can add the information of Astar Network as follows:

* Currency Symbol : **ASTR**

In case the RPC does not work, we would recommend you connect MetaMask with [Astar Portal](https://portal.astar.network/#/balance/wallet) to obtain the current RPC.
Once finished, click Save. Your MetaMask wallet is ready for the Astar Network Journey!
5\. Next click Connect at the top of the page.
You will see your MM wallet address showing at the right top corner once you’ve successfully connected MetaMask to ArthSwap. You’re all set to do crypto on ArthSwap!
### Mobile Wallet
Regarding mobile wallet option, there is a mobile wallet that allows our users to swap anywhere and anytime, thanks to Nova Mobile Wallet.
# How to Transfer ASTR from an Exchange to ArthSwap
$ASTR, the native token of Astar Network, is currently listed on tier 1 exchanges. One of the FAQs from our community is how to transfer $ASTR from exchanges to ArthSwap. This tutorial shows how to send $ASTR from Binance to MetaMask via Polkadot.js.
1. **Visit** [**Binance**](https://www.binance.com/en) and log in to your account. Click Fiat and Spot.
2\. Find ASTR and click on **Withdraw.**
3\. Now go to[ the Astar Network](https://portal.astar.network/) portal and connect your polkadot.js extension. If you haven't installed Polkadot.js yet, please install it from the official site[ here](https://polkadot.js.org/extension/).
Once connected to the Astar portal, you will see your address and amount. Make sure to copy the Native address. This is the address that you should use when you withdraw ASTR from the exchange.
4\. Copy this address and go back to Binance. Paste the address where it says Withdraw to -> Address, select your withdrawn amount and go ahead to click on Withdraw.
You might need to go through a **Verification Process** for the withdrawal request. It should take a few minutes for the withdrawal to be completed.
5\. Back to Astar Network, make sure to connect with polkadot.js and click Transfer. Paste your Metamask address on the Destination Address. Enter the amount of ASTR you want to send. Click confirm. Congratulations you have $ASTR in your MetaMask wallet.
6\. Go to ArthSwap**:**[ **https://app.arthswap.org/#/pool**](https://app.arthswap.org/#/pool) Click Connect on the top right corner of the page.
7\. Click Add Liquidity and then choose the pair to provide liquidity to and enter the amount. In addition to providing liquidity, you can also swap, participate in IDO events, etc.
# Bridge
ArthSwap has partnered with Celer Bridge allowing users to bridge assets from other networks(e.g. Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and more) to Astar Network. These are the steps to follow:
1\. Click More button at the top of the[ ArthSwap page](https://app.arthswap.org/), then you will see the Bridge button which will take you to the cBridge app.
2\. Once entering the app, the first thing you should do is connect your wallet. After that, select the token as well as the amount of the token you want to transfer to Astar Network.
**Note:** The tokens that we currently support in the Ethereum network and EVM related are wETH, BTC, ceUSDT, Matic, ceUSDC, and more which can be checked on our Farm Page.

# Calculation
Before June 28, 2022, $ARSW has remained unlisted, untradable and untransferable. From the very start of the project, ArthSwap conducted a poll from the community and together we decided the $ARSW price should be $0.175. On June 28, 2022, $ARSW was listed on gate.io with a listing price of $0.25. Before that, however, the estimated ARPs on ArthSwap have been calculated based on this estimated ARSW price, $0.175, with the exception of a period of time when the estimated APRs were calculated based on the estimated $ARSW price of $0.5.
The calculation method of APRs of liquidity pools on ArthSwap, before Feb 28, 2022, is as follows:

The APRs were originally designed to fluctuate with the fluctuation of the liquidity amount in our pools (as shown above). Effective 28th, February 28, 2022, the calculation method was redesigned so that the APRs are set out to be independent of the change of the pool liquidity. Liquidity Farmers can rest assured knowing that the APRs will be more stable. The newly adopted calculation method for estimated APR is as follows:

The projects who wish to be listed on ArthSwap NFT launchpad will provide liquidity on ArthSwap as well. The effect is NFT Staking - i.e., the ability for users holding a particular NFT to earn additional ARSW rewards by locking the NFT.

# Token Contract
After setting up the MetaMask wallet, you will need to add the token contract to your MetaMask wallet in order to send/receive a certain token to different wallets.
**Note:** You can either add the token contract to your wallet before or after you have swapped for this token on ArthSwap in order to receive it in your wallet.
The best place to add tokens is [**Astar Portal** ](https://portal.astar.network/#/astar/assets)which consistently updates the list of available tokens on the network.

**4. Can I use Ledger Nano** Yes, you can. Download the Ethereum app, and enable Blind Signing. However, the team does not recommend this as there could be unseen issues.
**5. I am having trouble completing my transaction; what should I do** For those who are having trouble completing their transactions, if you are experiencing the problem of not being able to finish your Approve, please try the following
Open the metamask and look at the activity. You will see that the Approve transaction is still in an incomplete state. Try deleting the transaction history in Metamask Settings -> Advanced -> Reset Account.
After deleting it, try swapping again, and the transaction may go through.
If it still doesn't work, try another device (another computer or phone) with a different browser that can use Metamask. There are many possible causes for transaction blockages, and the most common ones are blockchain and RPC congestion. However, they can also be caused by your communication environment and terminal conditions. It is best not to skip the same transaction multiple times. If you are buying tokens and the transaction does not go through, you may end up buying more than one token.
**6. Is Arthswap audited** Yes, ArthSwap is audited by Quantstamp, the same auditor as Astar network.
**7. When and how is mining reward distributed** Now you can harvest your mining rewards on ArthSwap any time you want. To mine on ArthSwap, all you need to do is providing liquidity and staking your LP tokens.
**8. Where I can buy $ARSW token** $ARSW token now has been listed on gate.io, MEXC and ArthSwap. We will announce it when it get listed on other CEXs or DEXes. \*Please be aware that $ARSW is only on Astar Network. The “$ARSW” tokens listed on other Chains are fake. The only DEX you can swap your assets to $ARSW tokens at this moment is ArthSwap.
**9. What is Fee staking** Fee staking is a functionality that allows users to stake their $ARSW tokens and get partial transaction fees as rewards. The protocol charge a 0.3% fee for each transaction, of which 0.25% will be distributed as mining rewards to the liquidity providers and 0.05% will be vested to the fee stakers.

What is ArthShot** ArthShot is ArthSwap’s own acceleration program - it provides support to other start-up projects on Astar Network from marketing, financing, community management side and so on. ## 代币兑换
代币兑换功能是任何 DEX 的基本功能，ArthSwap 也不例外。目前用户可以在以下任意资产之间进行兑换：DOT、wASTR、wSDN、wBTC、wETH、USDT、USDC、BUSD、DAI、WETH、BAI、LAY、KGL、MUUU、OUSD、WBTC、BNB、MATIC、JPYC、ORU和Nika。

# 设置你的钱包
## 将Astar网络添加到Metamask钱包
1\. 在Google Chrome浏览器上安装[MetaMask](https://metamask.io/)扩展插件，以便访问ArthSwap和其他支持EVM的dApp。请注意我们推荐在电脑在使用ArthSwap。在移动设备上也可以使用ArthSwap，但可能会发生一些不好的状况。

$ASTR是Astar网络的原生代币，目前已经上线了大部分的主流交易所。我们经常被问到如何将$ASTR代币从交易所转到ArthSwap。这个教学会告诉大家如何将$ASTR代币从币安交易所转到MetaMask，中间需要用到Polkadot.js.
1\. 打开[币安](https://www.binance.com/en)的网页，登录你的账户。点击“**Fiat and Spot**” 。
2\. 点击“**Withdraw**”找到$ASTR代币。

# 桥
ArthSwap和Celer Bridge建立了合作关系，用户可以使用cBridge将资产从其他链转移到Astar网络。步骤如下：

# スワップ と ファーミング
## スワップ (Swap)
スワップはDEXの主要な機能の一つであり、所有しているトークンを特定のトークンに交換することができます。2022年9月現在、約30種のトークンを扱うことができます。
1. [app.arthswap.org](https://app.arthswap.org) にアクセスしてください。Google Chromeなどのウェブブラウザで、Google拡張機能としてメタマスクをインストールし、メタマスクに簡単にアクセスできるようにしておくことが望ましいです。
2. まず最初に メタマスクのロックを解除してください。そして Astar Network に切り替えてから 接続 ボタンをクリックし、ArthSwap が メタマスク にネットワークを追加することを許可してください。
3\. これでスワップする準備は完了です。スワップしたいトークンを選び、金額を選択したら、「スワップ」ボタンをクリックするだけです。
## ファーミング
保有する通貨をペアにして、そのペアに流動性を持たせることで報酬を得られるのがファーミングです。CEXの場合、マーケットメイクは運営会社が行い、流動性を維持します。しかし、ArthswapはDEXであり、ユーザーがファーミングを行うことによって流動性を維持することができます。\
ArthSwapで流動性を提供する報酬としては、$ARSWトークンが付与されます。
ArthSwapのファーミング報酬は高いAPYを保持し、シンプルなUIに拘ることで簡単なプロセスになっています。
1. 「流動性の追加」をクリックし、ArthSwapにすでに存在するトークンのペアを選択するだけです。ArthSwapは独自の流動性プールを作成することをサポートしていません。ArthSwapに既に存在するプールに対してのみ流動性を提供してください。
2\. トークン・ペアを選択した後、金額を選択します。\
その後、「供給」をクリックします。
3\. 獲得したARSWは、ArthSwapの全プールとその詳細なプール情報を見ることができるファームページで確認できるようになりました。
# IDO ローンチパッド
IDOとは、「Initial DEX Offering」の略で、上場しているプロジェクトがそれぞれのプロジェクト・トークンを発行して資金調達を行う機会として一般に認識されています。IDOはまた、ユーザーが注目するトークンに投資することで、大きなリターンを得る可能性を持っています。
ArthSwap IDO ローンチパッドでは、プロジェクトは固定価格のプロジェクトトークンを使ってプラットフォームにアクセスする必要があります。

1. メタマスクはArthSwapや他のEVM対応dAppにアクセスするための拡張機能として、Chromeブラウザにインストールする必要があります。なお、ArthSwapへのアクセスは必ずパソコンで行ってください。ArthSwapはスマートフォンにも対応していますが、スマートフォンで暗号化行為を行う際に問題が発生する可能性があります。そのため、ArthSwapを利用する際は、パソコンからのアクセスを強く推奨します。
2. ArthSwapのページにアクセスし、キツネのアイコンをクリックして、パスワードを入力し、ウォレットをロック解除してください。
3\. ネットワークをクリックし、ドロップダウンメニューの一番下にある「ネットワークを追加」をクリックします。
ネットワークの追加をクリックすると、別のページが表示されますので、以下のようにAstar Networkの情報を追加します。

# 取引所からArthSwapにASTRを転送する方法
Astar Networkのネイティブトークンである$ASTRは、現在ティア1取引所に上場しています。コミュニティからよくある質問の1つは、$ASTRを取引所からArthSwapに転送する方法です。このチュートリアルでは、Polkadot.jsを介してバイナンスからメタマスクに$ASTRを送信する方法を紹介します。
1. [バイナンス](https://www.binance.com/en)にアクセスし、アカウントにログインします。**現物と先物**をクリックします。
2\. $ASTRを探して、**出金**をクリックします。
3\. 次に、[Astar Network ポータル](https://portal.astar.network/#/astar/assets)にアクセスし、polkadot.jsエクステンションを接続します。Polkadot.jsをインストールしていない場合は、[こちら](https://polkadot.js.org/extension/)からインストールしてください。

6\. ここで、ArthSwap: にアクセスしてください。ページの右上にある接続をクリックします。
7\. 流動性提供をクリックし、流動性を提供したいペアを選択し、金額を入力します。これでArthSwapでファーミングができるようになりました。ファーミングだけでなく、スワップやIDOイベントへの参加等も可能です。
# ブリッジ
ArthSwapはCeler Bridgeと提携し、他のネットワークからAstar Networkへの資産の橋渡しを行います。以下はその手順です。
1\. ArthSwapのページ上部にあるBridgeボタンをクリックすると、cBridgeアプリに移動します。
2\. cBridgeアプリを起動したら、まずウォレットを接続します。その後、トークンを選択するとともに、Astar Networkに転送したいトークンの量を選択します。

**5. トランザクションが完了しません。** 取引中に"承認"作業が完了しない場合、以下を試してください。
メタマスクを開き、アクティビティを参照ください。 承認作業が未完了の状態が確認できます。取引履歴を削除し、次の手順でリセットをしてください。メタマスクの 設定 -> 高度な設定 -> アカウントをリセット
リセット後、再度取引を実施してください。
それでも解決しない場合、別のデバイス(他のPC, スマートフォン)、または別の(メタマスクが利用可能な)ブラウザでお試しください。 取引を妨げる要因としてはいくつかありますが、ブロックチェーンとRPCの渋滞が主な原因です。また、ユーザーのアプリ利用環境も考えられます。\
取引が完了しない際、複数回実施しないよう注意してください。例えばトークンを購入時、取引が完了しないが故に複数回の取引を指示し、最終的に複数回の購入が実施されるケースもあります。

Open the metamask and look at the activity. You will see that the Approve transaction is still in an incomplete state. Try deleting the transaction history in Metamask Settings -> Advanced -> Reset Account.
After deleting it, try swapping again, and the transaction may go through.
If it still doesn't work, try another device (another computer or phone) with a different browser that can use Metamask. There are many possible causes for transaction blockages, and the most common ones are blockchain and RPC congestion. However, they can also be caused by your communication environment and terminal conditions. It is best not to skip the same transaction multiple times. If you are buying tokens and the transaction does not go through, you may end up buying more than one token.
